About CM Dog Photography

I am a dog photographer and I specialise in on location photo shoots. I capture stunning photos of your companion that you can treasure forever. I can help you select the best way to display your beautiful images, whether it's through photo framing, wall displays or a beautiful album. As a dog dad, I know that the love we share with our best friends is one that truly warms the heart.

Beautiful photos of our pups is something many of us desire but all too often put off. “I’ll do it soon” but somehow never get round to it and before we know it the moment is lost forever.

Naturally, you may be worried that your companion might not listen on the day of the session, or that they might need to be on their lead for the duration of the shoot, but you don’t have to worry at all. I will be there to support you throughout the session, whatever the situation, and it’s absolutely fine if your companion needs to remain on their lead – I can remove that later during the editing process.

After the photo session, I will help you choose your favourite pictures and decide the best way to display them. I will also assist you with selecting the best sizing choices for your home. Alternatively, if you are looking for an album to display your pictures, then I will happily design one for you. If you choose this option, I will send you a PDF copy, so that you can double check the design before ordering. All of my wall art comes with a five-year warranty, so rest assured you are covered for a long time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me; I’m here to help you create special memories that will live on for many years to come.

I never took any photos with my first dog, Troy. This is something that I will always regret, and I certainly don’t want you to feel the same way. Whether it shows that twinkle in their eye or that cheeky little look on their face, having beautiful wall art of your companion is guaranteed to put a smile on your face – especially after a long day of work!

Oh, and one last thing. Don’t forget to give your pooch a big kiss and cuddle!

About Me

I’m 36 and I have a huge love for dogs, photography and the outdoors. I’ve always grown up with dogs around, so it’s quite funny if I see another dog out walking because I still get really excited if I get to say hi to them!

My parents have always had dogs, so it’s no surprise that I now have my own dog. I got my first dog Troy (a Dobermann), when I was working in the French Alps as a ski technician when I was about 22. I unfortunately lost him two days before his ninth birthday. After getting married to my wife Hayley, we got Murphy (a brown Dobermann). I didn’t take many pictures of Troy so I started photographing Murphy to document his life. Not having many pictures of Troy is something I will always regret, It’s partly why I’m now a dog photographer. I want to be able to use my photography to give people beautiful memories I don’t have of Troy.

As I mentioned, I also love the outdoors. When I’m not photographing dogs, you will find me hiking up a mountain with Hayley and Murphy somewhere in Wales, or in the Peak District on my mountain bike. I also love to get out on my road bike at home to keep fit.
